		In the early 90’s, there were no seperate hip-hop or techno scenes in Fairbanks, Alaska. There were simply dance parties, where diverse, all-ages crowds packed into warehouses and basements. Versatillity and cut selection was as critical to DJ survival as mixing skills, and balancing cuts from rap, electronica, R&B and alternative rock was mandatory to keep people moving. These are the parties where a young DJ Scrilla first made his name, as a turntablist, promoter and personality. Today, Scrilla - born Jack Cisneros is a 10-year DJ veteran who runs the club scene in Salt Lake City, Utah. DJ Scrilla spins with an emphasis on precise mixes and high energy hip-hop and R&B sets, but maintains his roots of taking over any party, regardless of crowd, genre or venue. He has modern equipment, air tight skills, a feel for party flow and a library of the hottest classic and current cuts, from slow jams to club bangers. In a short time, Scrilla has become a dominant DJ force in Salt Lake City, opening concerts, closing down clubs, hitting the airwaves, packing parties and even taking over corporate engagements. He also produces underground hip-hop mix CDs and is an entertainment executive for a local promotions company, so he knows what it takes to make a night of music unforgettable and how to keep the dance floor packed and moving.
